About Bushpop

Bushpop is an Australian marketplace for secondhand fashion. We connect people who have great clothes they no longer wear with people looking for them, so good pieces stay in circulation instead of ending up in landfill.

Who we are

Bushpop started with a simple frustration: Australia sends huge volumes of wearable clothing to landfill every year while shoppers pay more and more for new fast fashion. We built a marketplace where everyday Australians can sell what they no longer wear and find quality preloved pieces from people across the country.

Unlike global apps built for overseas markets, Bushpop is made and run in Australia. Prices are in Australian dollars, sellers and buyers are local, and postage works the way it actually works here.

What we do

Bushpop is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Sellers list their own items, set their own prices and post directly to the buyer. We handle the payment, the messaging and the tools that make a sale safe and simple for both sides. We are the marketplace, not the shop, so every item comes from a real person clearing out their wardrobe.

Why secondhand

Buying secondhand keeps clothing in use for longer, which is one of the most effective things any of us can do to cut fashion's environmental footprint. It is also better value: you find quality brands at a fraction of retail. And it is more fun, because the best preloved finds are one of a kind.

How it works
